Lahore’s June and the electricity bill, at this time everyone wants to head to the northern regions to get away for a few days from the things that are inevitable in the summer season. We also decided to give real color to our imaginary Palau and booked a hotel online keeping our budget in front of us, in which we had to bear various costs, but these things seem to be common in our country now. We started our journey by taking the name of Allah and our destination was the valley of Naran. Whenever a journey is started, a strange joy and passion accompanies you and because of this we bear many hardships and pains. When we reached our hotel in Naran after traveling some eleven hours, the beautiful view of Naran Valley from its window was no less than a medicine to relieve the fatigue of the long journey. Beautiful scenery of nature with mountains, rivers, fields and swaying pine trees all subhan Allah
.
In the night, we went to the hotel counter and asked about the route to Saiful Muluk Lake and it was revealed to us that only jeep 4/4 goes on this route and the jeep and driver will be arranged in the morning.Lake Saif al-Muluk is located in the north of the Kaghan valley near the town of Naran. It is located at an elevation of 3,224 meters (10,578 ft) above sea level, and is one of the highest lakes in Pakistan. Plus it’s above the tree line. The tree line at which trees are able to grow and beyond which trees do not grow. There are many magical stories related to this lake. It is known that an Egyptian prince, Saif al-Muluk, fell in love with a fairy Badr al-Din at this lake, and the Sufi poet Shah Hussain wrote about it in his poetry. It is still believed that fairies come here to commemorate this event.
Now let’s see this lake for ourselves, how beautiful it is that fairies visit it. The hotel staff came and told us that your pocket has arrived and you came out quickly. We grabbed our bag and outside the hotel we looked around to see where the jeep was. This Jeep reminded us of black and white movies. But its color was red. Now even the stage of sitting in it was no less than a miracle. The driver reassured and started it and our journey continued towards the lake. If you have read the article on Patras Bukhari’s cycle, then the condition of this jeep was also the same, i.e. the sounds it made while running, its vibration and the smell of diesel along with it made the environment more comfortable. We were not able to fully understand ourselves that the driver told us to take care of ourselves and sit because the lake road has started and shocks will be felt here. “Feeling,” he might have said in a polyphony. Not only feel but your whole body gives assurance because it cannot be called a road but it is a track of small and big stones and the condition of a jeep from above. I request all those gentlemen who are suffering from any kind of back pain or any other discomfort or pain to consult their doctor before going on this trip. One thing comes to mind again and again that if the people responsible for the road construction have ever traveled this route and they are aware of the suffering and danger of the people. We reached our destination i.e. Lake Saiful Muluk. On reaching this premises, there was some chaos. There were a lot of people, along with countless jeeps and their noise, as well as small random booths and their noise. Well, somehow we made a way and proceeded towards the lake. The lake was visible from above. As soon as he looked at it, the word Subhan Allah came out, surely it is a very beautiful masterpiece of nature. To get to the lake you have to descend. You have to go down the stairs There is only one way to go and come and there was quite a rush. After getting down, we walked towards the lake. It is not a smooth road and you have to walk along it because there is a facility for horse riding and you know that where there are animals, their smell and stench is unbearable. It has to be done. Ignoring this, we proceeded towards the lake and tried to capture the enchanting view of the lake. While walking along the shore of the lake, I thought that I should sit somewhere and enjoy the view. But there is no place to sit there, yes you can sit inside the boats which are standing on a bank maybe there is some restriction on them due to which they were not moving. Leaning forward to touch the clear water, the water was very cold. You get a strange feeling of freshness which you can remember later and feel this state. After some time we looked around and I felt a lot of shame for being an argumentative nation. The families who had come to have a picnic in the boats near us were sitting there and eating fruits with great enthusiasm and perhaps they thought the lake was a dust bin and were throwing all the garbage into the lake. Looking ahead, young boys and girls were busy making some inappropriate Tik Tok videos, and got a strange feeling that people were more busy with themselves and not with the views of nature. We got off the boat and went ahead and saw a heart-wrenching scene. Two members of a family were crossing the glacier on the side of the lake. There is no provision in place to save you from an unfortunate situation. His own members of this family saved him. Meanwhile, it started raining and that too very fast, no shade etc. is available. We took quick steps towards the stairs. You have to stagger up the stairs as there is quite a climb.
In short, we reached the jeep and took the return journey. It can be said that on the way Malik Walmut was faced many times.
