Eight people were killed and dozens injured after a residential building collapsed in the city of Lucknow in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
According to Indian media reports, 8 people died and 28 people were injured when a 3-storey residential building collapsed in Transport Nagar area of Lucknow.
According to the news, the incident of the collapse of the building took place on Saturday evening, while the local administration says that the rescue operation is still going on and efforts are being made to ensure that no one else is buried under the debris.
According to the police, the building was constructed 4 years ago, when the building collapsed, construction work was in progress on a part of it.
According to officials, a motor workshop and a warehouse were built on the ground floor of the 3-storey building, while a medical equipment warehouse was on the first floor.
