Due to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally in Islamabad, many roads between Islamabad and Rawalpind are closed.
Looking at the traffic situation in Islamabad, metro bus services including red line, green line, orange line, blue line are closed, besides feeder routes and pink bus services are also closed, on both sides of Islamabad Expressway and the route from Lahtrar Road to Khanna Bridge. is closed
Srinagar Highway is open for traffic in both directions, Srinagar Highway can be used to travel to and from Islamabad Airport. From Rawalpindi Railway Station one can take Srinagar Highway, Faqir Epi Road, IJP Road to Peshawar Road, Bhara Kahu entrance is closed at seventeen miles to reach Islamabad.
Apart from this, the Islamabad-bound side of Motorway M2 has been closed, Motorway M2 Lahore-bound lane is open for traffic, barricades have been erected at Kalkarhar, Bluxar and Nila Dalha interchanges.
Taxila to GT Road at Sangjani Point GT Road is closed for traffic in both directions, the weekly Sunday Bazaar is open as usual.
Margalla Road can be used to reach the Red Zone, all other entry and exit routes are closed.
